This painting is from a reference picture I took during a stroll on a beautiful sunset in the coastal city of Half Moon Bay, California. It was a quiet Summer evening with few surfers and lots of birds gathering by ocean edge. It's amazing to absorb and simply enjoy all the beauty that surrounds us when we take the time to appreciate what Mother Nature has to offer in our own back yard. What favorite peaceful place does this scene take you back to?
