Natures Leaf Pendant

This One-of-a-Kind pendant is made from 999 precious Silver Metal Clay. Although this looks like a simple pendant the technique used is somewhat tedious but worth the results. I first carefully brush the metal clay over a natural leaf, letting it dry for at least 24 hours, then the process is repeated another four or more times. Once I am satisfied with the brushing and drying process I then fire it to burn off the leaf. I follow the technique by adding a patina to bring out the natural texture of the leaf and then carefully polish it so as not to lose that texture. The final product is an organic but elegant piece that goes well with any collection.
